Kuano Welcomes Dr David Barrett as Scientific Advisory Board member

David is a senior-level R&D leader and drug hunter in the biopharma industry. He has been President of Astellas Engineered Small Molecules US Inc. (formerly Mitobridge Inc.) and Astellas Engineered Small Molecules UK Ltd. (formerly Nanna Therapeutics Ltd.) since Spring 2022.

Prior to this, he spent 32 years working in Japan as a medicinal chemist for Fujisawa, followed by Astellas Pharma, in various roles of increasing seniority, focussing on Infectious Disease and Oncology drug discovery, as well as research & project management and driving various globalization initiatives.
